Cradle of Filth Let yourself be tempted by “Necromantic Fantasies” on the last song

Cradle of Filth debuted “Necromantic Fantasies”, the second new track from the upcoming Existence is futile album.

The first glimpse of the new album, “Crawling King Chaos”, was a total assault and, here, Cradle of Filth relied on aggression, opting for a slower tempo dominated by catchy riffs, classic metallic melodies and gothic splendor.

“This is a very different video from its predecessor, sporting more of a narrative amid a return to a dark Victorian Gothic vibe, featuring the second of many unique tracks on this, our 13th album,” said the leader Dani Filth. “The concept was not created by the pandemic. We wrote it long before it started, but the pandemic is just the tip of the cotton swab in the direction the world is going, you know?”

“It’s very cinematic, kind of like ‘Crawling King Chaos’, but on a much more ‘dark fairy tale’ path. Director Vicente did an amazing job bringing the script together with the band and the amazing sets. . It’s beautiful. And the song is pretty good too, “he added.

Cradle of Filth will be on the road in the United States throughout October with a trip to Mexico for a festival appearance that will close the race.

They will come back to their revolutionary album from 1998 Cruelty and the beast, performing the classic record in its entirety each night alongside other fan favorites. It is likely that “Crawling King Chaos” or “Necromantic Fantasies” will also slip into the background with the new album which will be released on October 22 on Nuclear Blast. Cradle of Filth, lyrics from “Necromantic Fantasies”

Lovecraft by day
Bend it to Wyrd’s ways
Life is linked, a masquerade
Where nothing is eternal
Save the grave
And our burning desire

Look around us now, rebellious
The world is wound up in tragedy
And out of the mad crowd
Obstacles bless our fate

At full moon
And the wolves howl in the forest
Would you take my hand
And lead us both on our dark adventure?
Would we share our dreams
These necromantic fantasies?
So could we ever be
Except when our hearts line up like thunder?

Do as you like
Never had their guilt
Death purrs with a dark melody
Precious hours
Like sylph and dirt
Are built on borrowed time
So let’s fly
The twin spirits have united into one inside
As countless demons refine damnation
We will revel in our own salvation
Before dying
Before judgment comes crashing down
Let’s make our destinies together
On the throne of paradise

My soul was caricature, don’t worry
He was limping cold and lame
Then through my frost defenses
You came with your eyes full of flame

So when the stars are spreading
And the nights are filled with terror
Will you whisper the truth
We right about their human error?
Would we share our dreams
These necromantic fantasies?
So could we ever be
Except when our hearts line up like thunder?

Love conquers all, love conquered me
He brought Madeleine to her knees
So breathe magic in the air
Tragic tastes are everywhere
As the heavens fix their wrathful eyes
On the man licking the dry planet
From tears to leaven, leave you and
I just spread our wings …
At full moon
And the wolves howl in the forest
Would you take my hand
And lead us both on our last trip?
Would we share our dreams
These necromantic fantasies?
Really, could we ever be
Other than when our hearts are six feet underground?
