Iran’s auto and auto parts exports exceed $ 58 million in 7 months
TEHRAN – Iranian auto and parts exports reached $ 58.407 million in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22), the Administration spokesman said. Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRICA).

According to the official, the destinations of the mentioned products were 12 countries in which Azerbaijan was located, followed by China, Spain, Russia, Senegal, Ukraine, Iraq and Turkey.
As previously reported, three major Iranian automakers, namely Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group and Pars Khodro, produced 501,635 vehicles in the first seven months of this year.
The production of the companies mentioned increased by 1.1 percent compared to the seven months of the previous year when production stood at 496,095.
During those seven months, IKCO produced 242,276 vehicles, 2.8% less than production for the same period of the previous year.
SAIPA manufactured 192,628 vehicles during the period mentioned. The production of this automaker was up 2.2 percent from the same period a year earlier when production stood at 188,490.
Pars Khodro also manufactured 66,731 vehicles during the period under review, 14.5% more than the production of the first seven months of last year.
Iran currently ranks 20th among the world’s leading automakers producing 821,060 vehicles by the end of 2019, according to the International Organization of Automakers (OICA), worldpopulationreview.com recently reported.
Last August, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin said his ministry had a two-year plan for the auto industry on the basis of which the industry will undergo serious changes and develop. will improve considerably.
âWe need to strengthen competition, improve management and economic mechanisms, and increase production in the automotive industry in order to be successful in our plans,â Fatemi Amin said.
“Our plan is to produce 1.6 million vehicles next year (from March 2022), which will increase to three million units by [the Iranian calendar year] 1404 (begins March 2025), and 30 percent of production, or about one million units, is expected to be sent to export markets, “he added.
Iran’s major automakers had manufactured 900,714 vehicles in the previous year (ended March 20), 4.3 percent more than the figure for the previous year.
In the past year, IKCO produced 480,338 vehicles, which is 21.9% more than the previous year’s production, which was 393,812 vehicles.
SAIPA manufactured 317,321 vehicles, a decrease of 12.6% compared to the 363,379 vehicles manufactured in 1398. And Pars Khodro manufactured 103,055 vehicles last year, a decrease of 2.8% compared to the production of the previous year, which was 106,072 vehicles.
The Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade programs for the current Iranian calendar year show that the manufacture of 1.2 million cars has been put on the agenda.
